Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

Required Information

4. Good faith statement:
   Include the following statement: "I have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
5. Accuracy and authority statement:
   Include the following statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner, or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
6. Your signature:
   Provide a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf. An electronic signature (typing your full name) is acceptable.

Our Response Process

Upon receipt of a valid and complete DMCA takedown notice, FreePixBox will:

• Review the notice: Verify that all required information is included and the claim appears legitimate
• Remove or disable access: Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
• Notify affected parties: Take reasonable steps to notify any affected users (if applicable)
• Document the complaint: Maintain records of all DMCA notices for legal compliance
• Respond to you: Confirm receipt and action taken via email

Timeline

• Within 24-48 hours: Initial review and acknowledgment of your notice
• Within 72 hours: Content removal or response regarding any issues with your notice

Counter-Notification Process

If you believe content you uploaded was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. A counter-notification must include:

1. Your full name, address, phone number, and email
2. Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification
4. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your location
5. Your physical or electronic signature

Repeat Infringer Policy

FreePixBox maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, accounts or access privileges of users who are repeat copyright infringers.

False Claims and Misrepresentation

Please be aware that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
